Russian official: EEU not to adopt united customs code soon

BRUSSELS, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- The date of a united customs code adoption by the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is unclear because of disagreements between the countries, Director of Russia’s Federal Customs Service Andrei Belyaninov said at a meeting with Benelux countries’ business circles on Tuesday.

“there are still a large number of disagreements there. There was a desire to finish this work by the end of 2015 but we have not managed to do this yet. I cannot tell you the timeframe. We are active participants of this negotiation process. There are quite many disagreements, nobody might be blamed for this,” Belyaninov said.
